How to activate new partners from the Prospect or Applicant statuses?

Whenever prospects are moved to the Closed won stage on the prospection pipeline, you can decide to activate them. This will give them access to Kiflo, and you can also enroll them in your onboarding process if wanted.

Activating new partners from the Prospect or Applicant statuses

One of the main benefits of the new prospection pipeline is that you can quickly activate new partners, enabling them faster. Whether you immediately start onboarding or invite partners to Kiflo by sending them an invitation, all these processes will occur smoothly.

Choose target program

When you move a prospect to your Closed Won prospection stage, a pop-up will open up, enabling you to activate the partner quickly.

You will have first to choose the partner program that the prospect will fall under, for example, Referral Bronze, Silver, or Gold.

Optionally, you can also grant the partner access to Kiflo by toggling Has access to Kiflo.

If the toggle is off, there will be nothing more you can do. However, granting them access will allow you to move to the next step: fill the partner's main contact information, invite the partner, and start an onboarding process.

Fill in the main contact information

In this step, you must provide more information about the partner main contact.

You can decide between sending an invitation email for them to access the partner portal right away.

If the toggle is off, you can click Close as you don’t want to send an invitation immediately, the new partner will be activated, and an account will be created on Kiflo. However, you will have to send the invitation manually.

If the toggle is on, click Next to the next step, where you can decide which invitation email to send and also start onboarding the partner.

Invite partner

During this step, you will have to select the email template that will be used to invite the partner.

You can have different templates, for example, ones for referral partners, resellers, or affiliates. You can then pick the one that suits the specific context.

Once you have a preview of the invitation, you can click Next, taking you to the very last step, and start to onboard your new partner.

Start onboarding

In the last step, you can decide whether you want to start onboarding your partner.

If you want them to begin onboarding immediately, select the Start onboarding option.

The partner will be moved to the first stage of the chosen onboarding pipeline.

If you don’t want to onboard your partner because no onboarding process is defined on Kiflo, click Skip onboarding, and the new partner will be activated. The prospect will receive the invitation by email without being part of the onboarding pipeline.
