How to manage your account mapping data sources?

Once you've added data sources, you can keep them up to date and control how they're shared. This article covers everything you can do from the Data Sources page.

Prerequisites

Opening the Data sources page

From Account Mapping in the top navigation, open the Data sources page.

The Data sources page lists every data source on your account. For each one, you can see:

  • Name: the data source name (for a CSV upload, the file name).
  • Status: Enabled when the data source is active, Processing when the data source is being imported, or Error when the last import failed.
  • Type: for example, CSV Upload.
  • Last imported date, Creation date, and Created by.

Opening a data source

Click a data source name to open its detail page. There you can review the accounts it imported and manage its settings.

Updating a data source

Click the Update button to refresh the data source, for example, to upload a newer version of your CSV file so Kiflo re-imports the latest accounts.

Always update your existing data source instead of adding a new one. Updating is incremental: Kiflo runs overlap detection only for the newly added accounts. Your existing accounts and the overlaps already detected for them are left untouched, so detection stays fast and your data stays stable.

Updating also preserves the data source's Sharing settings. If you shared the data source with only a subset of partners, that configuration carries over automatically. You don't have to set it up again. Uploading the same data as a brand-new data source would force a full re-detection on every account and require you to reconfigure sharing from scratch.

Reviewing imported accounts

The Accounts section of the detail page lists every account that came from this data source, along with each account's Type, Owner, Imported date, and the overlap counts (Partner customers, Partner opportunities, Partner prospects). Use the search box and Show filters to narrow the list.

Controlling how the data is shared

Open the Sharing settings of the data source to control how its accounts are shared for overlap detection with your partners. You can share with no one, all partners, or a filtered subset of partners. See How to manage sharing settings for a data source? for the full details.

Deleting a data source

On the data source detail page, click the More action button, then select Delete. Deleting a data source removes its accounts and all overlaps. It does not remove collaborations created from overlaps detected in this data source.
