Workflow examples: a step-by-step how-to guide
Workflows allow you to automate tasks and actions. We will offer a guide you can use to create your first workflow with Kiflo!
Workflow description
A workflow performs a sequence of actions whenever it is triggered. For instance, whenever a partner accepts an invitation, you might create a trigger to send them a welcome email.
Creating a Workflow
To create a workflow, follow the steps below:
- Go to Manage, Workflows, and create a New Workflow
- Name the Workflow and click Add
- Click on Choose Trigger, select the Trigger
You can choose, for example, the following triggers: Partner invitation status changed
- Select Trigger Options which will depend on the triggers you selected, as they will be what will trigger a workflow
You can choose, for example, the following trigger option to start a sequence of actions when a partner team member invitation is sent: Pending or Sent
- Choose whether you want to configure Re-enrollment settings
- Click Confirm
Select an action
To select an action for workflows on a workflow, follow these steps:
- Click on the plus button to add a new action
- Select the action, such as Delay, Send email, or Create Task
- Once done, click Confirm and click Save
Choose an end condition
- Specify the conditions that will stop the workflow
You can choose, for example, Partner team member accepted invitation. When a partner team member has accepted the invitation, the workflow will stop, and the entity will be unenrolled.
- Once you have selected the end condition, press Enable to enable the workflow
