Create and publish your first partner directory

This step-by-step guide walks you through creating, configuring, and publishing your first partner directory in Kiflo. By the end, you will have a live, public-facing page where visitors can browse your partners and get in touch with them.

Prerequisites

  • The Partner Directory addon must be enabled on your Kiflo account.
  • You should have partners already registered in your Kiflo account that you want to list in the directory.

Step 1: Navigate to Partner Directories

Go to Manage > Partner Directories from the main navigation menu. This page lists all existing directories in your account. If this is your first directory, the list will be empty.

Step 2: Create a new directory

  1. Click the New directory button.
  2. Enter a name for your directory. This name is for internal use only and will not be shown to visitors. Choose something descriptive, such as "Agency Partner Directory" or "Technology Partners".
  3. Click Create.

Your new directory opens in the configuration view. It starts in Private status, meaning it is not yet visible to the public.

Step 3: Configure your directory

Your directory has six configuration tabs. You can configure them in any order, but here is a recommended sequence:

General settings

Review the most important part:

  • Page: the page where your directory will be hosted. In case you have many directories, the page name must be unique.

Branding

Customize the look and feel of your directory to match your brand, this includes:

  • Set your Primary color and logos.
  • Configure CTA button colors to match your brand.
  • Add your social media links (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram).
  • Enter your Privacy policy or Legal notice URLs.

Filters

Choose how visitors filter and search for partners. Enable filters that are most relevant to your audience, such as location, language, and project type.

Contact form

Configure the fields that appear when a visitor submits a contact request:

  • Toggle individual fields on or off: First name, Last name, Email, Company Name.
  • Drag and drop to reorder fields.

See: How to configure the contact form on directory profile pages?

Profile page layout

Set up the structure of individual partner profile pages:

  • Edit the default sections: Company Description, Partnership Description, Contact Partner.
  • Add additional Rich text sections for custom content.
  • Reorder sections by dragging and dropping.

Partners must fill in every section from their profile page editing page.

Custom HTML/JS

Optionally, add tracking scripts or custom code:

  • Head section: Add code to the end of the <head> tag (for example, Google Tag Manager, analytics scripts).
  • Footer section: Add code to the end of the <body>  tag.

Step 4: Invite partners

Partners must be invited to appear in your directory. From the directory configuration:

  1. Select the Partner profiles tab.
  2. Click the Invite partners button in the top-right corner.
  3. A modal appears with three invitation methods:
  • By Partner(s): Select individual partners to invite.
  • By Program(s): Invite all partners enrolled in specific program levels.
  • By Group(s): Invite all partners belonging to specific groups.
  1. Select your desired partners, programs, or groups and confirm the invitation.

Invited partners appear in the listing on the Partner profiles tab. You can click on any partner to view or customize their profile information.

Step 5: Publish your directory

When you are satisfied with the configuration and have invited partners:

  1. Click the Publish button.
  2. A confirmation dialog appears. Click Yes, I'm sure to confirm.

Your directory status changes to Public and is now live at your configured URL (for example, https://acme.directory.kiflo.com/directory-name   ). Visitors can browse partners, use filters to search, view partner profiles, and submit contact forms.

Click the Open partner directory button to open your directory.
