How to customize partner directory profile pages?

Each partner in your directory has a dedicated profile page that visitors can view when they click on a partner listing. The Profile page layout tab lets you control what information appears on these pages and how it is organized.

This article explains how to configure the layout of partner profile pages, including adding sections, editing section content, and reordering sections with drag and drop.

Accessing the Profile page layout tab

  1. Go to Manage > Partner Directories.
  2. Click the directory you want to configure.
  3. Select the Profile page layout tab.

Understanding default sections

Every new directory comes with three default sections:

Section Purpose
Company Description Displays information about the partner's company.
Partnership Description Describes the nature of the partnership and what the partner offers.
Contact Partner Embeds the contact form so visitors can reach out to the partner directly.

Each section includes a Title and a Description field that you can edit.

Editing a section

To edit an existing section:

  1. Click on the section you want to modify.
  2. Update the Title field to change the section heading displayed on the profile page.
  3. Update the Description field to change the placeholder (explanatory text) shown to partners when editing their profile.

Adding new sections

You can add additional sections to enrich partner profile pages:

  1. Click the Add section dropdown at the bottom of the section list.
  2. Choose a section type:
  • Rich text - A free-form content section. You can add multiple Rich text sections to a single profile page layout.
  • Contact form - Embeds the contact form configured in the Contact form tab. This option is disabled if a Contact form section is already present, as only one contact form can appear per profile page.

The new section is added to the bottom of the list. Edit its Title and Description as needed.

When to use Rich text sections

Rich text sections are versatile and can be used for a variety of purposes:

  • Highlighting partner specializations or certifications
  • Listing service areas or supported regions
  • Providing additional context about the partnership

You can add as many Rich text sections as you need to create a comprehensive partner profile.

Reordering sections

The order of sections on the profile page matches the order shown in the layout tab. To rearrange sections:

  1. Hover over the section you want to move.
  2. Click and hold the drag handle.
  3. Drag the section to its new position in the list.
  4. Release to drop it in place.

The profile page will reflect the new order immediately for visitors.

Best practices

  • Keep the Contact form visible. Place the Contact Partner section in a prominent position so visitors can easily get in touch with partners.
  • Use descriptive titles. Section titles appear as headings on the public profile page. Make them clear and informative.
  • Limit the number of sections. While you can add multiple Rich text sections, avoid overwhelming visitors with too many. Focus on the information that matters most to your audience.
  • Preview your changes. After configuring the layout, publish the directory and visit a partner profile to verify the page looks as expected.
