How to set the owner as the deal validator?

To have better control of deal validation, you can set the deal owner as the validator. Read more to find out how you can do this.

Setting the owner as the deal validator

To set the owner as the deal validator, follow the steps mentioned below:

• Click on your Name in the top right corner
• Go to your Account
• Go to the Deals section
• Move to the Validation strategy section
• Select the Owner only validation strategy
• Click Save

Once you have clicked save, only the deal's owner will be able to accept or refuse the deal. 

Other validation strategies available include:

• Anyone: anyone in your team can accept/refuse the deal
• No validation: deals will be automatically accepted
