How to share news per category?
Using News is an easy way to communicate important information with partners. You can share product updates, events, social media posts, etc. But sometimes sharing different kinds of news in the same widget on the dashboard does not make sense. It will prevent partners from accessing important information.
Categorize News, add many News widgets on your partner dashboard to split communication by category.

Categorize news
Each news must be associated with one category (ex: "Product updates", "Events"). To associate one category with news:
- Open the news page
- Click on "Edit" in the left section "About this news"
- Then select or enter a new category:
And click the Save button to save your changes!

Customize dashboard
Edit the dashboard you want to customize:
- Go to the Manage page
- Click on Dashboards
- Then select the dashboard you want to edit
Tips
In most cases, you have only one dashboard for all partners. However, it is possible to create many dashboards and customize them for different partners in different programs.

Add the Last news widget
On the dashboard editor page:
- Click the Add widget button
- Select the category: Communication
- Then move your cursor over "Last news" and click "Add to dashboard"
The selected widget will be displayed at the bottom of the dashboard.
Configure the Last news widget
Click on the Configure link:
Then you can change the widget's title, and description and filter news displayed in this widget on some categories (you can select multiple categories):
To share news from a different category, just repeat those steps to add a new widget Latest news, and configure it accordingly.
Finally, click the Preview button and Save.
Wait, I'm not seeing news in the widget
This is a preview that takes into account partner permissions. Make sure news is published, visible to the selected partner (selected in Preview data as), and in the right category.
