How to access HubSpot sync logs?

This article refers to the HubSpot integration. If you haven't connected Kiflo with HubSpot yet please read the related documentation first.

It may be tricky sometimes to understand why your leads or deals are not synced at all, or partially synced with HubSpot.

To help you troubleshoot the integration Kiflo provides detailed logs for each lead and deal.

Access logs per lead/deal

To access integration logs for a particular lead or deal:

  • Open the lead/deal's page
  • On the left section scroll down to the "HubSpot sync" section:

If you don't see the "HubSpot sync" section on the left sidebar please make sure:

  1. Your HubSpot integration is enabled: read article
  2. You turned on the right settings: read article

When Kiflo deals are not synced with HubSpot the section "HubSpot sync" is hidden on all deal's pages.

When Kiflo leads are not synced with HubSpot the section "HubSpot sync" is hidden on all lead's pages.

From this section, you have access to:

  • Last sync date: The last time an attempt (successful or not) to sync the object with HubSpot occurred
  • View in HubSpot: Quick access link to go on HubSpot and open the corresponding contact or deal
  • View logs: Open detailed logs

Click the "View logs" link to open the detailed logs:

This window shows useful information and error messages in case of errors. Including:

  • Date: The date when the synchronization attempt occurred
  • Status: The status of the attempt
  • Direction: The direction of the data
  • HubSpot ID: The identifier of the contact or deal in HubSpot. Click on the link to open the corresponding object in HubSpot.
  • Message: The error message returned by HubSpot or generated by Kiflo. Use the information from this column to troubleshoot why a lead/deal is not synced as you expect.

Access general logs

To access logs and the synchronization statues for all leads and deals:

  • Go to the Manage page
  • Click on Integrations, then HubSpot
  • Click on the Logs tab:

This page shows detailed logs for all leads/deals synced with HubSpot. Including:

  • Date: The date when the synchronization attempt occurred
  • Status: The status of the attempt
  • Direction: The direction of the data
  • Entity: The related lead or deal in Kiflo. Click on the link to open it.
  • HubSpot ID: The identifier of the contact or deal in HubSpot. Click on the link to open the corresponding object in HubSpot.
  • Message: The error message returned by HubSpot or generated by Kiflo. Use the information from this column to troubleshoot why a lead/deal is not synced as you expect.

Filter logs by status or date to narrow down your problem:
