How to prevent partners from receiving asset digest emails?

Asset digest emails effectively communicate information to partners; however, you might want these updates to occur only sometimes. We will look at how to prevent asset digest emails from being sent.

What's the digest email?

Each time you upload new assets or edit existing ones, your partners will be notified about these changes through digest emails. These emails reflect changes to assets in the last 24 hours.

In the case there is no update because nothing has changed in your asset library, no email will be sent.

Turn on notifications

To upload or edit assets, go to Manage, and you will find the Assets section.

By default, changes to assets will be notified to partners.

When you upload assets and notifications are on, partners will receive a summary of recent asset changes.

Asset permissions

It is also important to note that partners will only receive asset digest emails for assets they can access.

Turn off notifications

Allowing partners to receive digest emails is a great way to ensure they are up-to-date with all your assets.

However, you should turn off these notifications, for example, when building your asset library for the first time. Otherwise, you may spam your partners daily for every single change you make!

Turning off notifications will enable you to make changes over many days without overwhelming your partners with the new assets.

What will happen when I turn it on again?

Further updates will be notified to partners. Partners won't receive notifications for all the changes you've made while the option was turned off.
